We are also very fortunate to have The Lyon’s Therapy/Rescue ranch animals located with us. They provide wonderful therapy for shut-ins convalescing in hospitals, by taking animals (camels, baby donkeys, savannah cats, dogs, cats, parrots, etc.) to them.  This is a non-profit service to the community (www.lyonranch.org). Rob and Robin Lyon also assist us in finding our own lost pets. Lyon Ranch is a clearing house for lost and found pets in this area. They have the space to “temporarily” house and feed lost animals. They also have the required permits for wildlife (except deer), and will pick up all injured animals for rehab and transfer/release under an MOU umbrella with Sonoma County Fish & Game and Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue.
