1. Purpose of the Reservation System
The Reservation System is intended to prevent the situation where members arrive at the tennis courts and find both courts in use. It serves as a communication tool to enable players to better organize their plans and their use of the courts in a cooperative manner. It also is intended to insure that the maximum number of players get court time during peak demand periods, which are typically during the morning hours and on weekends or holidays.Reserving tennis court time(s), at the Diamond A Recreation Center, is available to all members by accessing a tennis court scheduling web site, provided by holdmycourt.com.
2. Diamond A Tennis Reservations Rules
1. Only Diamond A Rec. Center Members may use the scheduling software to
reserve times at our tennis courts.
2. No sharing of passwords is allowed. Each member must register and
receive their own password.
3. Reserved time slots can be set in 30-minute increments for up to 90
minutes
of play. The default is 90 minutes.
4. The software allows reservations for TODAY and TOMORROW only.
5. The software allows members to schedule for TODAY at any time during the
day.
6. Members may schedule a reservation for TOMORROW any time after
12:01
am. TODAY.
7. The software allows each member to reserve ONE time slot per day. Two
members of a group are not permitted to reserve back to back time slots to allow
their group to play for several hours.
8. The software will send a confirmation to your email, once you have reserved
a court time. You may bring a printout of that email, to the court, to verify
(if necessary) that you have the court reserved. Note that the website
displays nicely on a smart phone, so you could just bring your phone.
9. On arrival at the court, with your printout or smartphone, if no one is on
your court, just take the court and start play. Otherwise, inform those playing
that you have the court reserved, and allow them to finish their current game
before taking the court.
10. Once your reserved time is up, if no one is there to claim the court, you
are welcome to continue to play as long as you want. However, if someone shows
up late to claim the court, you are obligated to yield the court. This
applies, whether or not they have a reservation, and you have played at least 1
1/2 hours already.
11. Although a member can make only ONE reservation per day, you are
welcome to play anytime that the court is not reserved. So, you could play in
the morning at a time you reserved, and then play again later in day, when the
courts are not reserved.
12. If you decide that you cannot play at the time you reserved, please
go to the website promptly and cancel your reservation. Then the court can
be reserved by other players.

3.1 Getting Started: Registering and Getting a Password
1. Go to the Diamond A website and Click on "Recreation" and then
Click on "Tennis Reservations."
2. On the Tennis Reservations Page, the link to the holdmycourt.com web
site is at the end of the first paragraph.
3. Click on it!
4. You should be transferred to the holdmycourt.com site page for Diamond A.
Yes, there are ads on the page, because using the software is free to us.
5. At the top left of the page, Click on "Sign In or Register",
and the login page will display.
6. Use the New Registration Section to enter your information. You can just
Click on a field to move around, or use the Tab key. Once you have
entered your information, then Click on the "Register" button, or
just hit "Enter", if it is already highlighted.
7. The software will generate a password for you, and email it to the email
address that you entered. If you don't see the email, with your new password,
in a few minutes, then look in your spam folder. If still no joy, then contact
John Perez (contact info above) for help.

2. Go to the Diamond A website and Click on "Recreation" and then
Click on "Tennis Reservations"
3. On the Tennis Reservations Page, the link to the holdmycourt.com
web site is at the end of the first paragraph.
4. Click on it!
5. You should be transferred to the holdmycourt.com site page for Diamond A.
6. At the top left of the page, Click on "Sign In or Register" and
the login page will be displayed.
7. Enter your email address and password, in the appropriate fields, in the
page section entitled "Please sign in to make a reservation."
You can Click on a field to start entering or use the Tab key to move from
field to field. When ready, Click on the "Sign In" button, or
just press Enter, if it is already highlighted. If you type in the
information incorrectly, the software will display an error message in red and
give you the chance to re-enter it.
8. If you have entered a valid email/password combination, then the website
signs you in and shows the court times available/reserved for today.
9. Now you have a choice. You can reserve an available time for today; or, if
it is after 12:01 am, you will see tomorrows date displayed just above the ads
to the right. If you want a time today, just Click on that time. If you want a
time tomorrow, then Click on the date displayed for tomorrow, and the page will
refresh with the schedule for tomorrow. Then you can Click on an available time
for tomorrow. Note that, since we don't have numbered courts, we have
used court names that seemed logical - given our court geometry.
10. Once you have Clicked on the desired date and time, the website will
display the confirmation page.
11. Please review the information presented to make sure that it is what you
want. Then, Click on the "Submit" button, to complete your
reservation. Congratulations! You can now sign out by
Clicking on the "Sign Out" text at the top of the page. You
should receive a confirmation email shortly. The body of the email will look as
follows:

3.3 How to Cancel or Change a Reservation
1. As mentioned in the rules section, please cancel a reservation as soon as
you know that you will not need a court that you have reserved.
2. If you want to change a reservation time, then you will have to first delete
the current reservation and then make a new reservation.
3. Go to the Diamond A website and Click on "Recreation" and then
Click on "Tennis Reservations"
4. On the Tennis Reservations Page, Click on the link to the Tennis Court Reservations
web site - at the end of the first paragraph.
5. You should be transferred to the holdmycourt.com site page for Diamond A.
6. At the top left of the page, Click on "Sign In or Register", and
you will be taken to the login page.
7. Enter your email address and password in the page section entitled,
"Please sign in to make a reservation". When ready, Click on the
"Sign In" button, or just press Enter, if it is already highlighted.
8. If you have entered a valid email/password combination, then the website
signs you on and shows the court times available/reserved for today. If
the reservation you wish to cancel is for tomorrow, then Click on that date to
display court times for that date.
9. After Clicking on the reservation time you want to cancel, then the website
displays a confirmation page.
10. Click on the "DELETE this reservation" text to cancel your
reservation. The website software will then re-display the page, showing
the court times with your time selection now shown as available.
11. You can now sign out by Clicking on the "Sign Out" text at the
top of the page. You will receive an email shortly with the following
message:
